Ohhh, look; now there's a picture of a man that is definitely in need of a hug. His hands are all cramped-up  from too many hours on the GameCube.

Seriously though, HydroSpider's exit is a big loss. I loved his posts, they were those that inspire us to get out there and embrace what we love. Deep down I think he'll still be lurking even if he is no longer posting. This is a great site with good people - something you can leave, but can't leave alone.

My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.

Like this site and lurk every day. Retirement turned to crap with wife's job going south and need to be here to care for older relatives. So I enjoy the post and keep the old prowler cleaned up for 2 or 3 trips to local lakes a year. But I miss sunset and the coos river system, especially when CBY isn't working and not leaving any fish unchased.

I need a bro hug today.  Spidey has left the house.  I realize that Terry may not have the thickest of skins, but this is the reason we do not allow name calling or personal attacks here.  You are not going to solve anything in this fashion in written form on the internet in this forum.  Stick to debating the topic instead of the people on the other side of the debate.  You guys know who you are, so cut that shit out.  Terry is a friend, one that I will sorely miss here.

Hey, this site and you all that participate are great. Sure, we're not perfect, so let's give ourselves a break if we screw up now and again. Hugs all around....See you on the water!

I've learned a TON from you guys here on NWKA over the last 1.5 years.  I'm a pretty inexperienced fisherman compared to most here (yak or no), so I read way more than I write.

HUGE thanks for all the clinics, info, tips, ideas and so on.

Wow, I'm getting the warm and fuzzies.

I can not thank you guys enough.

Ever since Noah found me lurking, lost and alone over on the Oregon fishing forum, and kindly shepherded me over to here where I belong, my life has taken a serious turn for the better. Thanks Noah!

This community has helped me through a tough relocation, and a divorce all in one year, and oddly enough I look back and it was one of the best years of my life.  Not easy. But good.

So thanks nwka.  I look forward to meeting more of you.

Oh and by the way, my recently acquired bachelor status has me keenly aware that the demographics of our membership are lacking one in key group.

I propose a membership drive!
I would much rather be up a creek without a paddle than down one.

At Sassy's or the Acrop? Either way, I'm in!

Awe crap .... I'm going ta have to agree with Lee on this one.
Casa Diablo is pretty damn entertaining and the A crop has lost points in recent years.

Well to each is own.

I was thinking more like the kind of girls you meet at church ;)

You know, sweet, wholesome,  like to fish, but only every once in a while.

Shows you all what I know. It's been a long time since I slapped any bills down on the ol' meat rack.
