Your Yak fishing Vehicle of choice?

Slight threadjack;
Was headed up the highway today and saw an older blue p/u headed southbound. Loaded on top were 2 OK Big Game or similar, and hanging out the back, were side stacked 5 or 6 more of the same, all in yellow.

Was that anyone here?

I use a 82 subaru hatchback coupe . My yak is bigger then my car lol

Saw the SWEEETEST potential yak hauler on the road:



I spotted this surf fishing rig in South Carolina on my way back from Boston and I have not stopped drooling. It's from New Jersey and a tad tall for a roof rack. But I'm sure it could drag a yak trailer behind it. Heck, I didn't see the back door, but its big enuf to put a few boats inside.

Now that is what you would call a "custom rack" for the Porsche.....money is no object!

Great on gas.  My girlfriend thought it would be comical to put another PA on top of my rack.  Don't try this at home...

I bet a trailer would be more economical on fuel, but that looks cheaper in the long run. And it's hilarious.

I am a PA14 13' owner, that is a sweet set up.

The second one on top is a joke... I do have a double trailer I pull behind the Prius.

I'm toying with the idea of building a shorter version of the above rig for my retirement years.  I see myself traveling to Mexico and other sand and kayak friendly locations south of the border.

My kayak trailer of choice would be something flat towed like this.

This one would be if I take the plunge and stay in Kentucky awhile.
