I had the same thought... and this is what the Googles gave me:


I just don't understand if the kakyak goes inside or on top?.?
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.

Here's my cousin Ed's Starlet, he drives this thing to Hobuck with the X-factor and still gets 30+ MPG might be more. The X-factor is almost longer than the whole car.

This is my current rig.  I use the bed extender for short hauls, and when I tow my camp trailer, the yaks ride on the Thule.  I've since added some pool noodles on the vertical bars in the back of the extender.  This setup works great for me and allows me to launch and recover my outback without lifting it too far.
