Official 2013 AOTY thread.....

I finally caught my first AOTY points for the year. March 31

Is it too late to add these guys to the list?   I spent about 2hrs chasing a giant school of them and had a blast.

Nice freshwater bonefish.  They pull hard and run fast.  Did you get it on a lure, bait or fly?

I got it with a lure while I was bass fishing.  Snagged in the tail fin.  It was one hell of a fight.

Question....how long does it take for catches to load up after submittal?  Just curious.

I know its a year long competition, I'm just excited to get the goose egg off the score board

could take a week... sometimes less, sometimes more... the fella in charge of that has a job, wife, kids, etc... so, we just submit it and forget it.  That way when he gets to it, which is usually pretty quick, we can be excited about the change in our score... or sad with our rejection cause we didn't read the rules.   It is nice to go from zero to anything.

Why am I having trouble submitting my pictures for AOTY?  Do I have my resolution too high on my camera?  I keep getting error messages when I try to submit the photos.

I know. Had to toss ya chit tho cuz when you get to the page it gives you a countdown of 7 more days before its functional.

Yeah, it's a countdown until the Predator kayak is officially revealed to the public.    The countdown is just to add to the anticipation hype.

I'll get excited if Johnson took an OK hull and added a giant oblong 'scupper' right in the middle! How much longer till that patent expires?
