I tried to "search forum" for braided line and it took me all over the place "cab pots...".  I want to spool a new reel with 30-50lbs braided line and web reviews are all over the place.  What does the community recommend?

I know a lot of people use whatever is on sale at the time. That's the route I went and it has worked so far. I got the cheapest braided line available, and since its neon green it looks cool too!

lol, thanks.  I was looking at Cabela's product review and it had a high mark of 1 out of 5 out of 5 reviews, lol. I'm sure for jigging/trolling it would be ok.

My Cheep Skate Side often has me giving a try to generic products to see how they measure up.    I started buying large spools of Spectra / Dyneema line from oversees.   You will see countless auctions for the stuff on ebay.   The same factories produce several of the brands found at sporting good stores here.    I did some DIY testing by tieing 50 feet of major name brands "Power Pro, Spider, Tuff Line" to  the same length of the generic of same test rating via heavy swivel.   Doing a Tug-a-War between the golf cart and fence post each time it was the knots that would break first showing no bias of on line over the other.   Using a linear scale,  they "line and knots" always well exceeded the test rating.
Just do you homework regarding knots proven to work best with super braid lines.

I used to think that Bigfoot might exist. Then I saw the reality shows where they are looking for them.  Now I am certain they don't

Any where ... if I find it on sale I buy several spools.

I like moss green but have also fished the multi colored depth finder version. I don't think color matters much.

Ebay, and buy a 1500 yard spool, the stuff isn't going to go bad and you get huge savings that way.

lol, I meant where to purchase.
