I am currently dealing with the sturgeon fishing aftermath.  I had to quit sturgeon fishing early to make it to another charity function. In my haste, I threw my gear bag with my wet sturgeon-slimed dry suit inside onto the garage floor.  Today, while looking for my cordless drill, I walked past the bag and realized I forgot to unpack it.  I opened the bag and almost gagged. After two washings, it still smells like a dead skunk. :P

I had to wait until Monday to empty and clean my car and I am paying for it now.  I aired my car out for several hours yesterday and it still smells like sturgeon.

My bait cooler was pretty ripe Monday morning.  Good thing it's just for bait :)

Ling ling.  Never underestimate the generosity of forum members.  I'm sure someone would be willing to make your car smell like sturgeon!

What are you driving?   Where do you park? Do you ever leave your windows down?
I would much rather be up a creek without a paddle than down one.

I drive a brownish colored Chevy Blazer.  I could leave a w8bdow cracked.  You guys are too kind. Faith in humanity restored!

I had good luck recently with MiraZyme (got it at Next Adventure). You soak the stinky stuff in a solution of it in water and then hang dry. It's an enzymatic cleaner.

It sounds like your situation is much worse than mine, however...

It's quite easy to spot. Just look for a chevy blazer with a blue Hobie on it ;)

The outback has been retired. The Revo gets all the love now. I feel like I will never use the outback ever again. It is my spare for buddies and the gf.

Thanks, but I think the Charlie's Soap took care of it.  This stuff is awesome on the wicking fabrics, as well.
