I love it. It can take a pretty good beating and protect my workbench woodwork and it cleans up pretty nice. I don't have issues with it sliding around. I have since installed a vice clamp and a small flatscreen TV  :banjo:

If you can, be prepared to pay a premium.  I would check out Clackamas Scrap Metal (I think that is what it is called) off 224 and Evelyn.  https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=SE+Evelyn+St&daddr=Clackamas,+OR&hl=en&sll=45.406762,-122.559587&sspn=0.00629,0.013937&geocode=FVXatAIdHOOx-A%3BFYTdtAIdf7mx-CnzWoByDnuVVDEvPzJv_ioIWA&t=h&gl=us&mra=dme&mrsp=0&sz=17&z=17

Insayn may know of a better spot on the west side.

I wouldn't buy it from Home Depot. They're going to ask waaaay too much. My dad gave me the piece I have (left overs from a job he worked on).
I like Craig's idea of looking in a scrapyard. My sheet is pretty thin. You might find a thicker piece in a scrapyard.

I got a 4x8 sheet of aluminum diamond plate there for $89 (i think).  I would have to find the receipt.

Noah, if you are worried about something slipping while you are working on it, try these:

I got some from Sears at Washington Square Mall about a week ago for $9.99.  They seem to work (so far).
