Well as always my first goal would be fish more, fish alot, when I should be responsible fish a little more! Even when that last cast should have been an hr ago I will cast a few more times just for you Mr redbeard!...lol......but seriously I am infatuated with the Oregon Coast and can't wait to get out again, but in the mean time I will be trying to promote the sport here in Idaho in every way I can! The kayak anglers are starting to come out of the woodworks finally, more people are showing interest and our small groups like Snake river yak addicts and Kick'n Bass Kayak Fish'n are starting to grow a little as well. We have events set for this season at CJ strike reservoir, snake river and lake lowell.

I'd really love to have my kayak dragged out to albacore grounds so I can feel that fight. Outside of that sunet bay lings and kings, bouy 10, and some neah bay halibut.  Maybe PA depends on the dates.

Catch a bass. Yup its a simple goal, but I've never landed one.  Lots of trout, but never a bass.  Its on my list this year.

I will be fishing primary out of the W700 this year, and my goal is to put 100 Kokanee in the freezer (and eat a few along the way).  I would love to catch my first chinook out of the kayak.  So far all I have been able to get are Pink salmon, but we will see how it goes this year.
Fish on the right side that's where the fish are! John 21:6

I am no longer a dealer for Wavewalk but if you ever want to paddle one let me know!

#1 Get set up for some salt water action (really want to go on a spring slay ride)

#2 weigh a 4 lb+ smallie (not leave the scale in the truck when you catch a contender !)

#3 possibly sell the power boat and get a new yak more suited for salt water action.

Come on down and fish Buoy 10 starting about July or so. Forecast is for a decent run of Kings but a lousy run of silvers this year. I didn't look up any links to substantiate --- just something I read somewhere. And I'm being lazy but the information is out there in cyberland.
And Gig Harbor isn't that far away. I'm sure there will be posts when the fishing gets serious ---- or shortly there-after. So come on down and bust that King Cherry.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

To get out on the yak at least once a month when I move back and have someone to watch the baby. And to post detailed reports with pictures to help give back knowledge as so many people have done for me.
