Looks like it should be nice out there this weekend. I'm looking to hit either one for crab, rockfish, and/or salmon on Saturday. Anyone need a wingman?

Don't forget that Angler of the Day tournament is this weekend down in Sunset Bay. Should be some good weather and definitely a good time.

I would have been all over the AOTD tourny, but can't spare the vacation...even depoe bay is pushing the limits of a day trip for me.  cant wait for next year, get my 3rd week of vacation time, 2 weeks just aint enough.

I wanted to do the AOTD tourney, but it turned into a whole family vacation. And I mean WHOLE family vacation. It's like I was old-school Catholic all over again! I had to find something a little closer to home, but next year?

I am flexible a bit on where to go and when. I can hit Depoe or P.C. either Saturday or Sunday (including both). Let me know when you find out, Crabbycabby.

Depoe Bay sounds good on Saturday. I'll be there around 6 a.m., I'm thinking. I'm bringing gear for Salmon, Halibut (if available), and bottom fishing. Sunday I can hit Depoe or Pacific... Strangely enough, I might be available Monday and Tuesday too...

I got the green light for sunday, we looking at depoe or PC?  i'll probably head out on Sat afternoon after work and crash somewere along the way - can be ready to fish 1st thing Sun morning.  My vote is for PC (never fished there), but would be open to either.

I'll be at Depoe on Saturday morning and at PC on Sunday morning, Crabbycabby. Conditions look very good at this time. I'll send you out a PM with my digits soon.

Actually, I'll just put it out here. I'll be at Depoe on Sat. at 5:30 a.m. and PC around 6 a.m. monitoring channels 69 and 80. At Depoe, I'll be heading north toward Boiler Bay and working Government Point. I'll probably be working toward the structure NW of Cape Kiwanda itself. Anyone dropping crab pots?

Yes, I will probably drop one. 40 foot of water about a quarter mile south of the rock is usually a good spot.

May see ya'll out there. Heading to PC 95% for sure Friday night, to fish Saturday. Hoping for a morning and an evening session.

Might also fish out there on Sunday, but thinking of trying a new spot I've had my eye on that I can't find any reports of anyone fishing. We'll see how adventurous I'm feeling.

Either way I probably won't head out too early as it doesn't seem to matter and it's just more crowded at the launch. Leave me some fish out there, OK? :)

It looks like I might be headed over for fishing on Sunday.  I'll know by Friday if I'll be making the 7hr drive.
