Oh, and for what it is worth, the Coast Guard Auxiliary is looking forward to having us again, and advised they will come out to Chinook Bend Campground both Thursday and Friday nights to do vessel inspections. They want to impact us as little as possible at the ramp.  I had them do mine yesterday while I was rigging up, so I wouldn't have to do it at the ORC.

If you want to succeed with the inspection, here is a fun game you can play.  I haven't done so, but I assume it would be an action packed first person shooter.  http://vdept.cgaux.org/vve/launch.htm

Or, just have a safety flag, whistle, radio, compass/gps, sunscreen, drinking water, immersion gear, pfd, and a white light (head lamp).  A cell phone may be extra credit, but I am not sure.

I understand greatly appreciate the balancing act between time at work, family and putting something like this all together.
I am not trying to say that the folks involved in the organization of this event aren't working their tails off...I do appreciate the hard work and long hours involved...

I understand privacy.  I didn't think about having to cross reference the Next Adventure roster with the NWKA "handles"...

But like alot of other folks here, I am just curious how many are registered already...

I do like your idea, Craig, about starting a "Who's in" thread...so I will...

I, too, am not trying to be a "Dick"...just curious about the count is all

 Sharkbait,

I was just about to do the same thing--ya beat me to it.

I like the idea of "knowing".
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Seriously?!!! That will be awesome. Let me know if you want to borrow any gear, I seem to remember your favorite salmon rod being donated to the willamette after one too many donuts ;)

As I've mentioned once or twice already, NA could probably have easily started their "Product/Registration" with 120 available before opening the gates.  Then as folks registered, it just clicked the number down one and so on.

This is already used on many other things for sale via the internet.  Maybe next year (if they are hosting).

No names tracked publicly, nobody has to translate NWKA names to real names, or doing a daily tally.

Anyone know what the one day license cost? and the invasive species. Coming from California and need to get that setup...

One day license is $16.75
Two day is $31.50
Invasive permit is $7.00

All resident/non-resident...day licensing also includes salmon/steelhead/halibut tag

Licensing can be done online through ODFW...
However, I highly recommend stopping in somewhere on your way up and getting it...
My faith in the ODFW online stuff is, well, minimal at best...

If you've never had a license in Oregon before, you'll need your California driver's license (all your info is on it)...
I set guys up all the time from California...just takes a couple minutes
