The one I tried on at Astoria scuba is called a lavacore it won't keep me 100% dry but it will keep me warm I don't mind a little wet it's the cold that will bite ya , I find neoprene when splashed from time to time keeps the temp down but keeps ya warm in the sun if ya don't splash.

I actually am sick today also but not motion sickness so the Dramamine may work if I'm in top condition. If not I can man up and toss lead at  fish while I toss cookies to the fishing gods.

it was fun to see you out there on Thursday. I think that most of us have paid the hurl price to The Sea Gods some time in our lives. You may have caught only one keeper, but the other ones you didn't keep we're just as fun to catch.

We all leaned some new things over the course of the day. Mine? Attach a flotation device to your Hog Trough. Other wise it becomes structure.

I still feel bad about the hawg trough if I would have been at the top of my game and thinking fast enough I would have used my net to get it. As for the fishing if my pole is in my hand and the line is in the water and I have new friends in the same body of water I couldn't ask for a better day fishing, it's not about the catch it's about the experience and the building of new friendships that is why I joined the NWKA. Now I hope to have my a game on for the ORC cuz I need to try out one of them fancy new peddle boats to see if my bad hip can take the peddle motion better then my stomach and the ocean motion. Thanks to all 6 of you guys that went out with me I had a freakin blast.
