What are your goals for 2016?

Fish more than 2015.  See Insayn and Lingbanger get there halibut and get one also.  Get down to No Cal for some ab diving.  Do more Salmon fishing this year.  Fish more.

Go fishing.  Catch something big enough to eat.  Enjoy every day on the water.

I should recant. It's never a done deal when it comes to halibut until you are back to port/shore. I've lost a friend while but hunting. I had a good swim in search of but. My but was too big. (Yaksurf was there for the hat trick, so I talk potty on his posts)

Dude I just want to see you guys get some Butt.  That was a impressive 1 1/2 hr fight for a big butt.  He's out there waiting for round two.

Time to move on from guys butts and get this back on track. 
My fishing goals for 2016 are to do more bank fishing and get this little guy his first steelhead and salmon (Baby rules are in effect so if he touches the rods while a fish is on it is his).  I also hope to kayak fish at least 50% of my normal, pre-baby levels, without getting in too much trouble.

Catch the fish I am fishing for. Last years fishing was skunk city. It has put me into a rut. Also explore more kid friendly fishing styles and options.  Also be more active in the online community again and make some more videos. Although I did have my best video in 2015!

Are you still working a new RV, camper or other rig for 2016?

I'm hoping to sell the van soon and get a small RV before spring-summer.  We'll see how it goes.

All this halibut talk has me thinking. I didn't really put in any effort on that in 2015. I'd like to catch one off the Oregon coast, just because I catch most my fish in Oregon. I don't know if it's a goal or not, but I sure am interested.

Haha! Me too! In all seriousness, though, his amazing scores over the years are a high water mark for all of us. Pretty inspirational.

My goals for 2016 are:
-Catch a Chinook from my kayak
-Catch a few more Lings
-Attend more NWKA events. Only made the humpy classic, but I had a blast!
-Get my fiancé a kayak, and get her interested in fishing.
-Catch more Baker Lake Sockeye
-Buy outriggers for crab season
I'm sure I'll accomplish more than just these, but it's a start!

Do some travel and fish with Rudy and his awesome son a time or two. Catch a halibut and some real salmon the on south for a WSB down in pole poles water. Art
