FYI herring has not been doing well Kodiak Custom Jigs have been killing it, we have had really good luck on sabiki rigs catching small cod which you can use for live bait, its a lot of fun and on average the fish you catch seem to run larger, we will be down this weekend for another limit if weather cooperates

WTG -  nice to have the chickens for eaters.  I love em when the filets are just 1" thick or so, incredible.

Nice pics too - my ribs are nearly healed so hoping to make it down in a couple more weeks.

Keep the reports coming!

They are there and plentiful if you can find 130 to 200 feet which isn't hard , might take a little cruising around but you will find em

Thanks for the update, Jake. I think I'm going to give them another shot on Saturday. Low tide in the early afternoon.

I can't make it down until Tuesday if anyone is interested in a mid week trip. And with a high tide just before 9am it should be good.

What size sabiki rig are you using?
