The Nothing, Insayn, future member "Juice" and myself threw everything we had at the Willy yesterday.  The bite was slow but there were a few to be had.  One of mine went 18 plus for an unexpected AOTY upgrade.  Got him on a green 5" senko.  It was great to meet everyone and I'm ready to do it again when you are.  Never thought I'd say it but "galdarnit them bass are fun."

Deepcolor, that was good stuff.

That is only my second time on the Willy, and it really is a shame that the water is so polluted, as it has some really cool structure, and is nice to paddle on.   And wow!  I can't believe how much junk is floating down that river.  A couple of times I had to shake my paddle loose from a floating grocery bag, or some other kind of plastic.

On a side note:
I wonder how many of those tour boat patrons are currently browsing the net looking for fishing kayak details?  ;D

No firm names yet.  I'm sure we'll thing of something.

Not sure what power these smallies have over me, but I was back at it this morning.  I feel like Chevy Chase in European Vacation, only I'm stuck on a bass roundabout.  "Look kids, there's big small."

Three more early this morning.  And I was joined by another future member who was fishing the bank the other day when we all took out.  He was inspired by Insayn's granny walker wheels, he went home that night and converted his golf walking cart into wheelies so he could get his fishing yak down to the river.

That night?

Dang it was nearly 9:30 PM when Juice and I finally rolled out of the parking lot.

Willamette and Clackamette Parks have direct access to the water and lots of good structure nearby.
