I also will be making tarter sauce while the oil heats - for those that can't live without it...

You remember the funky drunky sauces(cobrakaks special sauce) we had last year, great idea on the Tartar Sauce, you gonna make a half gallon?

I just cooked up 1 1/2 gallons of clam and shrimp chowder. It's made using half-n-half and a whole stick of butter, so a little will go a long way! Same as last year, but added a pound of shrimp instead of that third pound of clams. I have cups and spoons to use too!

I also found a way to get the yak into the van. No roof racks this year, yeah! The back is very thankful.

I'm going lazy this year... Bringing a couple big bags of oysters to eat raw or throw on the grill. Add a little crusty french bread and whip up a mignonette sauce, cocktail sauce and maybe some compound butter for the grilled ones.
