It seems most of the species are more available in California.   :-\

Yeah, but they added pinks, coho, and greenling.  That adds a lot of options for NW guys.

   Sturgeon is listed in the NW category as 50 points 10 per month 36" min and then listed in the fresh water category as 100 points 5 per month no minimum length. How would you like us to score fish caught in brackish water?

They are equivalent now.  If you catch them in brackish water that means it has some salt in it.  So I say saltwater.

Rick

Starry Flounder would be the most common  species to use.  Average size  is 12 to 14 inches.  So 14 inches would be a good minimum size.

good idea. and saltwater perch also:

striped sea perch-min. size 11"
surf perch-min size 10"

Question about Trout under freshwater species.  I am assuming that steelhead falls under the Rainbow trout catagory, both share the same fancy name Oncorhynchus mykiss.  But what about cutthoat trout (Oncorhynchus clarki),same genus different subspecies?
