He does know that this isn't a bass tournament, right?  I look forward to catching up with him.

Do we need an anchor system out there?

I have an anchor system on my SINK but, I haven't had time to rig onto my SOT.

If I do need an anchor, is 3 lbs enough? I could probably add a couple of feet of chain for extra weight.

Anchor's are dangerous in the ocean.  Kelp clips or sea anchors if you want to slow your drift.

Oh hell yes!!!  The Kraken is joining us on the road trip.  Looks like we have 28 signed up and paid so far not counting the 3 of us.  If you haven't paid yet, please try to do so by this weekend.  We have some spending plans we need to finalize.

That's because his second coming didn't happen like they said it would, so we didn't think he was going to show for this either.

Sounds to me like maybe the second coming did happen. It's just that Christ would rather hang out with FishSniffer and do some kayak fishing than deal with rapturing Harold Camping and his cult.

That's why at the very 1st ORC Allen picked up the moniker:

BTW- CTF is about the fishiest dude in DB. If you have a chance to pick his brain and are nice about it he can give you some valuable tips. I've never seen him not have a stringer full.
