Oh my, this is going to be fun!!!  Looks like hydrospider is making the trip up with me.

NCKA is coming with some real live ringers! It's going to take a monumental effort to keep that T-13 in NWKA water. Glad you guys are coming, might make for some interesting side bets.

He does know that this isn't a bass tournament, right?  I look forward to catching up with him.

Do we need an anchor system out there?

I have an anchor system on my SINK but, I haven't had time to rig onto my SOT.

If I do need an anchor, is 3 lbs enough? I could probably add a couple of feet of chain for extra weight.

Anchor's are dangerous in the ocean.  Kelp clips or sea anchors if you want to slow your drift.

The T13 is safe in NWKA hands.  NCKA is sending its best LOOKING fishermen, not its best fishermen.

Oh hell yes!!!  The Kraken is joining us on the road trip.  Looks like we have 28 signed up and paid so far not counting the 3 of us.  If you haven't paid yet, please try to do so by this weekend.  We have some spending plans we need to finalize.

I didn't see Christ The Fish listed on the first page.  Please add him.

That's because his second coming didn't happen like they said it would, so we didn't think he was going to show for this either.   ;D

Yeehaw ... I had a goal to get a paddle for a prize for this tournament.  I'm pleased to announce that I met my goal.

Werner Shuna paddle, 230 cm, in red ... http://wernerpaddles.com/paddles/touring/premium/shuna/

Quote
The Shuna is our most popular high angle touring paddle. It's powerful yet light weight and durable and great for active or relaxed paddling. The mid-sized blades fit a wide range of kayakers and are versatile and easy to use during advanced maneuvers or all around touring.

Sounds to me like maybe the second coming did happen. It's just that Christ would rather hang out with FishSniffer and do some kayak fishing than deal with rapturing Harold Camping and his cult.

You are the schwagmaster PolePole, who donated that?

Does the divine ability to walk on water still qualify as self propelled?

That's why at the very 1st ORC Allen picked up the moniker:

"Pimp-Daddy polepole"

BTW- CTF is about the fishiest dude in DB. If you have a chance to pick his brain and are nice about it he can give you some valuable tips. I've never seen him not have a stringer full.

Werner cut us a great deal on the paddle and I used some of the entrance fees to seal the deal.
