Unless you'll be going for halibut and need a catch card you can buy online and print.

I think it's going to be beer and smack talk around a bonfire.  I'm not sure what the word is on the pizza.

Damn!!  With all these prizes, if you go home without winning a prize, you really aren't a good kayak fisherman.   :tongue3:

Must be time to start the Official ORC 2011 Trash Talk Thread!!!!

Is there some place easy in Depoe to get licenses? Or should we pick them up prior to getting down there?

I really wish Squidgirl was paying attention to this thread. She could fill in the details. I think she saved the receipts and everythign from that year.

There's a small "resort/campground" about 15 miles or so north of DB that sells licenses and permits. If you are going down the 101, it's a left hand turn at a major T intersection, there's estuary on the right hand shoulder.  then go back about 2-3 miles to a Brown Barn and Farmhouse on the right....I think Spot or maybe it was someone else, turned us on to the place.
  :dontknow:
As of July 12th, I am, officially,  retired.

Jeff, no offense but i don't think that is the place i'm thinking of.. from pics i've seen of Chinook Bend, the place i have in mind just ain't it... too little vegetation for one thing.  matter of fact i may be off in my mileage estimate by anywheres up to 25 miles... honestly i just cannot remember the place all that well, but it was before the town with all the traffic circles...before depoe bay...  arrrgghhhh das ist frustrieren'

I've had Chinook Bend tell me their computer was on the fritz when I tried to get a shellfish license for a buddy, but Coyote Rock (one park closer to 101) can issue them manually (they don't have a terminal). Short answer, you can get licenses there somewhere.

BI MART in Lincoln City is an ODFW licensing agent.  It's at the first major traffic light as you get into town from the north.  Turn west, then right into the shopping mall parking lot.

Last night SPORTCO in Fife was completely out of jig heads in all sizes less than 6oz.  If you need Jig heads, plan on shopping elsewhere.
