Official ORC 2011 Fish Taco Thread

Big Thanks to those have signed up to support the Taco Bar.
Looks like we have a really great start on supplies to make some killer eats. 

If you haven't signed up for something yet and planning to attend the Taco Bar,
you can double up on items that are already covered  to make those items go further.

Or, bring deserts or other munchies. 

I'll bring the mango salsa and some extra taco sauce. I can't freakin wait! 

Ill bring some Kalbi (flanken style shortribs) that will make some cry, as long as I can use your grill!

If they don't have the BBQ on deck, then you can certainly use my portable grill that I keep in my camper.

I'll bring some shredded chicken for those who aren't big on fish.

NWKA has reserved the River Deck for the evening of the 18th.

This area is covered and has a large gas grill for our use.  It also makes a great podium for the awards presentation.

You can put us down for some:
-Corn tortilla's (tall bag)
-Taco sauces (2 bottles, hot & mild)
-Limes (6)
-Red onions (6)
-Black beans (6 cans)
-Some kind of hot peppers

Count me and pdw9mm in for some beer . A mix of Coronas, Modelo and Pacifico to keep in theme with the festivities.

We're gonna be there on Thursday, just hope we don't drinkem all by then.

Is the barn available, or does the Kernville Square Dance Club have it? Might be nice if its been pouring all day to get out of it for supper. A nice back up if it's not booked.

Sign me up for fresh pico de gallo (salsa fresca). I will bring a second fry cooker, and will do fresh tortilla chips and will also have taco shell molds to fry them.

Your chowder is the best I've had!  I'll bring my own 2 litre bowl!!!

I'll ask to switch if it looks like a possibility of a rain-out.  We're on a budget though so I don't think we want to pay for services we won't use.

Who wants to volunteer to walk around the ciaos with their GoPro strapped to their head, arm or on a long pole capturing the essence of
our little gathering.  With two or three GoPro's recording, anyone with some video editing skills could put together a cool
clip for YouTube/Facebook, etc.

Dang. We're gonna need a couple of porta potties added .
I planned on getting there Friday pm, might bump to Friday am and fish or look for some impromptu advice n such.Also the 2 cases of pop, I'm bumping to 3 now.

Ok with everyone responding  to the headcount request (BTW Thanks!), we have a pretty good number to shoot for now.
If you have signed up to bring something please take this number into consideration.
