Last year the campground had a bonfire going for us both nights.  Not sure if that's the plan this year as well.

If you are in an RV site and want to have a fire along side your trailer then I think you have to bring your own. The park folks get a fire going in the group site on Fri and Sat nights. We might even get treated to a sing-a-long.

Ok with everyone responding  to the headcount request (BTW Thanks!), we have a pretty good number to shoot for now.
If you have signed up to bring something please take this number into consideration.  :o
70+
I'll bring more of the stuff I signed up for. Thought this was a potluck? Haven't stepped up yet?  :help:

It's not your normal potluck where we each bring a different dish that is good for 5-6 people.
Instead we each bring a piece or two of the whole Taco theme.  It started out as a Fish Taco theme, then spawned out to include seasoned beef, and shredded chicken and a whole bunch of other things that one can use to make their tacos.

If it goes as planned, we should have enough of each item on hand to support at least 150+ taco's provided each adult eats two to three, and each kid eats 1-2.  The idea is that each person that plans to chow on Saturday should plan to support it one way or another.  If a person hasn't volunteered yet to bring something, and only one person is signed up for an item on the first page of this thread, feel free to double and triple up on an item to get more on the table.  Lets make this awesome!

browneysvictim is bringing another oily hot tub to make fresh taco shells, and chips in.
But feel free to bring more.  We may very well need 200+ holders for all the taco goodness we are preparing!

I already added you to the list for the Corn Tortillas.  They are cheap and we can never have too many.
It's easy enough to double up the tortilla's to make a longer taco.   ;D

Since it flooded earlier this year it could be really or really bad.  If you have firewood and don't mind hauling it, it wouldn't be a bad idea since what they charge for wood is fairly steep.  I bought a bunch last year from them and didn't really use any of it due to their nightly bonfire.

I will have another deep fryer with peanut oil for frying taco shells and chips. I am bringing a Costco size bag of corn tortillas too, but they are cheap (an yummy too! Especially fresh out of the oil and a sprinkle of Kosher salt! I just bought 3 taco tong molds for keeping their shape while frying. It will be interesting how fast I will be able to keep up making these! Lol! I love kitchen gadgets!

As for the firewood, I'll be bringing some- but not "bonfire" quantities.

I just tore down a cedar fence at my house.   I'll try to remember to stuff as many of the old pickets into my truck that will fit around my fishing and camping gear.

If anyone from the Portland area going to ORC has some extra truck space they should feel free to stop by and pick some up for the fire.

If your ceder fence material is oxidized, please save me a few boards.  My wife just mentioned yesterday that she'd like to make a bird house with some old ceder fencing.

I'm bringing 2 bags of the same tortillas, a bag of onions, red or sweet as well as the other stuff. I'll bring a little firewood also. Anybody else like cabbage on their fish tacos?
