I have a couple of 20'X30' blue tarps.Would/could they be useful at ORC ?
Will also bring a Big Buddy Heater to keep more sedentary folks warm.
Any other need that need to be fulfilled ?

The tarps could be strung over Lee's tent to keep it dry, provided you don't bring some Unicorn dust to repel the rain instead.   ;)

LOL, tent.  Not this year.  You don't think I posted that Salish Resort special for no reason do you?  Fish, massage, Taco potluck goodness.  Yeah, gonna be an epic weekend.

Nice, you get the Unicorn Suite?

Sign me up for another (back-up) fry cook.

I'll bring a large propane cooker with peanut oil. I'll also bring a large roaster oven (to keep things warm).

.... and a big can of WHOOP A$$$ for the tourney! >:D

See y'all there!

Looks like we wont be down for the party this year.  First blow was my wife, who doubles as my secretary gave me some bad intel on the schedule.  Second, our rental house was just vacated and left completely trashed, as in pulling out the carpet and treating the subfloor trashed.  Being but a poor kayak fisherman I gotta get the place rented or I'll have to sell my toy's again.  Barring a miracle we won't be there, (this will give me time to come up with a plan to beat you all next year).  Honestly, I'm bummed and still holding out a tiny bit of false hope.  So, we can't commit to helping.

That sucks man.  We're planning to move in the fall / winter, and stories like that is why I want to sell instead of renting out my current place.  Hope it works out for you.

Since fishnut (and Yakchick) aren't coming anymore, I can volunteer to take fishnut's place on the cooking rotation.

Would it be beneficial for me to bring firewood for some campfires?  I can grab a bunch of really dry stuff from my parents (they wanted me take some anyway).  If that would be helpful, how much should I bring?

If you are camping in a trailer or RV, you can bring wood for a little fire for cooking etc next to your rig.

The tent/group area has a common fire pit and the CB folks supply the wood.

Last year, NWKA supplied the wood.  So if you see us running out, don't be shy to ask us for more.  Your entry fees hard at work ...

I don't mind bringing a bunch of wood (whatever will fit in the bed of my truck considering the kayak).  I'll be driving alone, so all the camping gear can go in the back seat.  I'd bet I could get 1/3 cord to fit, maybe more (have to close the tail gate and probably have the yak on top).  That would offset that cost, and leave more for swag or prizes.  If you'd rather buy it from Chinook Bend to help them make a bit more off us that's fine with me.  One less thing to pack into the truck.  But if it's wanted I'll definitely bring it.

I have a digital scale we can use, plus I'll volunteer for weigh in assistance.
