Depends on what you mean by cheap. We'll probably be camping the same area as last year. As I recall it was about $20 a night, which didn't seem that cheap to me but was close to all the action.  The campground will probably designate an area for the whole group.

The group area is $20/night/person, and it's a good deal because they give us lots of space and renting a space outside the group area is expensive and the spots are small.  Here's what I think the group area approximately encompasses, and a couple pics:

The "Twin Fifties" are coming along nicely.  The AOTD receives one custom redwood 50" Trophy Trough, and I use the other (as well as a 48"+ model from last year) for the tournament check-in stations.  Having fun with it.   

Thanks for the info. I'm going to check my finances to see if this is doable for me. It looks like a ton of fun.

Four weeks left in registration.   

79 paid participants so far.  Last year 153 total, but only 50 at this time. 

Edit as of 3/28/13 - 18 days left to register.   

Sitting at 169 registered anglers right now - could hit 200...
