Which fishing licenses/tag do we need?

Do we need the invasive species permit?

Dino -HOW NWest

The daily/weekly non-resident licenses come with a harvest card that includes sturgeon.  I think you need to get a combined angling tag (salmon/sturgeon/halibut) if you have an annual license.
All kayaks will need an invasive species tag.  I have 1 extra I can let someone borrow.

Also, how many people plan on checking in on Saturday morning?  There will be one check-in at George Rodgers and I will move the second one from the Jefferson St boat Ramp to somewhere else if there is interest.

I think the single day license covers sturgeon and yes, you'll need the invasive species tag.

Daily Licenses:
1-Day Angling License* $16.75 • Salmon, Steelhead, Sturgeon and Pacific Halibut Tag (Combined
Angling Tag) is included with daily licenses, and all retained fish must
be recorded on the tag.
• The same fees apply to residents and nonresidents.
2-Day Angling License* $31.50
3-Day Angling License* $46.25
4-Day Angling License* $58.00
7-Day Angling License* $59.75 • Non-residents
only.

I was planning to register Friday at Next Adventure; since I'm planning on launching at George Rogers, makes more sense to take advantage of that.  What time will check-in be available at the park on Saturday?

I have 2 extra invasive species tags available for anybody that needs one - I'll plan to have them with me on Saturday.

Thanks,
Sam

I was planning on launching from Jefferson St. and fishing near Elk Rock, I was out there on Sunday and hooked into a few nice fish, lots of sturgeon jumping as well.
I can always check in on Friday if it needs to get moved.

If I check in at Next Adventure, what should I bring to complete the basic safety test of equipment?

I also have two invasive species permits.  If someone needs to buy an invasive species permit, get it from REI.  They are from the marine board and only cost 4.99.  No merchant fee. The only thing they need to see is the money.

I will be checking in participants at George Rogers Park from 7:00 - 9:00 AM on Saturday.  I will have a table set up in the round area just off of the lower parking lot.

At the check in we will have you sign out a waiver and fill out a float plan.  You don't need to bring your boat or gear.
Because I have not heard otherwise I will be at the Jefferson St. Boat ramp until noon on Saturday.  Please let me know if you want to check in there, so I know how many people to expect.
Also, remember to sign up before Friday.  I can accept signups in person Friday afternoon but it is easier to go through the website.

Scratch me off the lists boys. Looks like I'll be working while you guys are playing.  I swear, all this work is interfering with my fishing. Knock them dead boys. Can't wait to read about the festivities and see the pics.

Hey Nate,

Any chance you'll have someone on-site late to take forms tonight for those of us coming from the West side after work?
