Thinking about heading to WG myself

NE 15, 3ft.  Buckle your belts, its going to be a tad choppy I think.  Lots of snow forecasted for Saturday.  Looks like Anchorage will get dumped on Saturday as well.  It'll suck from a comfort point of view, but it should up the odds for us!

They better not wimp out and postpone!  Everyone drive safe and we will see ya down there!

I'm at Lands End, 30 degrees, 10knt wind at least. Couple foot sea but a bit calmer in front of condos. Way worse for  tomorrow so I'm going to try it.

It was great to meet everyone, I appreciate the warm welcome and words of encouragement when I wussed out. I'll be back. Need to put in some time in calmer waters and figure out this motion sickness tendency I've got.

Snowing pretty hard in Wasilla right now.  Not sure about anchorage but roads could be fun tomorrow. Just a heads up guys.

 A few hours ago ,Rudy posted  picture on FB of his son, Ryu, with a 20 lbs king and mentioned thee were 3 kayaks that had kings. That kind of an average puts the power boats to shame.

ok derby is way screwed up. lots of big fish not being counted. not happy. pathetic

I thought it was big fish wins.

What's going on with the results? I took off to avoid the rolling traffic jam since I didn't have a fish to weigh in.
