So is a 12.5 foot swell at 12 seconds fishable?  Or should I just take my surfboard on saturday?
It's never too late to start procrastinating.

umm.... eeyeah. That looks sporty!  :-\
We are still a ways out and the forecast could change... but I don't know if we could get clearance to cross the bar from the coasties if it's going to be as big as it looks now! We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
... Or... backup plan?

That's not the forecast for next saturday, is it?  Look like this weekends forecast.  Let's not jump the gun with doom and gloom please.

Wavewatch has pushed out the arrival of the swell by a day since last week.  It was showing the build on Friday.  Now it's showing Saturday.  Currently it's forecast to not exceed 9' till after 5:00PM some time.  There's still time for the swell to move out even farther (as it often does).  Cross your fingers!

Yeah, Magicseaweed.com was doing the same thing. It had Saturday morning as the time for that swell to show up, now today it has moved it back a little bit to later on Saturday. Fingers crossed!

Its not the forecast but the Coasties that control our future.  In the past a forecast like that restricts the hole to "X" footage and under.  Beach launch from Beverly if the coasties close the hole?

Lol!  If we're beach launching, I'll be fishing it from my 7'6" pintail.

Yeah, forecasts are forecasts and likely to change as the week moves on. Let's hope it moves in the right direction.

Maybe we can get someone to bring a Sea-doo and we can launch "Laird Hamilton style" from Beverly Beach.   >:D

We could all just lash our kayaks together into a long chain...
