Nice reports guys!  All these salty reports are killing me!!!  Will the ocean ever calm down on a day I have off?

Not to brag or anything...OK, yeah actually, to brag...I got a nice 32" ling yesterday out at clark island.  Not terribly easy to land when your net is hilariously undersized :)

Nevermind the fact that I look like I'm in "Tron"...thatsa spicy meata-ball!

Yea nice fishy!! I can't wait until tomorrow...

just ditch the net for a gaff or just those Hobie lip grippers and it will be alot easier.

Just curious do you, or anyone that uses one, have a hard time opening those grippers up wide enough with one hand comfortably some times?  i do. It seems like you have to open the handles pretty far on bigger fish.

Maybe i just got short fingers.
See ya on the water..

Yeah, I ended up using the fish grip.  I prefer the net, but the grips work in a pinch.  I haven't had any problems with these:

as far as I know, you can no longer gaff lings in WA.

Very nice fish.

OR has an income tax.  In many ways sales tax is "voluntary", income tax mandatory.  Personally I prefer a state sales tax versus a state income tax.  I am not much of a consumer.

Getting off-topic, but...Seems like Vancouver, WA is the ideal place to live for people who hate taxes.  Work in WA, shop in OR!

Crikey!  That's a monster!  Nice work. How long is it and where were you fishing (if you don't mind me asking).  Also, what's a PB?
