FW, you might want to leave the cat at home....   ;)

Good luck out there guys! Looks like you'll have a good weather window that day.

Craig,

Thanks for the advice, i'll try and see if I can find some wool socks.

Spot,

Stupid cat got in the way of the picture. Man she loves to play with the end of the rod. (shiny)
While I was trying to attach the reel to the rod(siting on the ground) the cat would not leave the rod ALONE!
I thought she was going to scratch it up! or break it (she has sharp claws and likes to bite things)
I got mad and chased her away but she returned not 15 seconds latter. This went on for a little while and then I gave up, I Didnt care anymore I was too busy trying to attach the reel to the rod, surprisingly, not like my other cheap rods, this rod is pretty tough and is scratch resistance from cats  ;D .

I can't wait to catch me some sturgeon, I want one that can eat my mom's cat. lol

   FWcaster,
I heard old timers used to use cats for sturgeon bait.Never tried it myself--just saying......

Good luck out there boys.Watch out for floating debris......oh,..and catch the fish you've been dreaming about.....
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Hey guys I thought I'd let you know I'm planning on coming up and joining your floatilla of yaks on Friday.  I'm going to launch from Chinook. I hope to get there about 7:00-7:30.  What channel are you going to have your radios on?  Like Craig I'm desperately seeking atoy points.
Dana

Dana,

Welcome to the flotilla.  I will bring my radio and be on channel 69.  I will try to be at the launch between 7-7:30 am, as well.

W00t. I caught my first sturgeon. It was a shaker but it still counts.

I had a blast out there guys. It was nice to meet those that were there. Now its time for rest and getting ready for tomorrow.

I had a blast too.

It sure did not seem like 6 hours anchored.

Thanks everyone for helping me out.

I would much rather be up a creek without a paddle than down one.
