Don’t worry Craig I have been laid up since surgery so I have not been to work for a while. Mums the word. ;D
Sounds like a good bite on the Columbia today. I'm heading out tomorrow afternoon if anyone else is too. Not sure where yet.
Yup. Good bite tonight . And I hate Nate a little bit more. ; )

I am interested.  But, I need to pass a fire inspection at 3:00.  I hid everything today so I should be ok. >:D  I hope Firebunker ain't reading this.:o   My only problem would be having to drive home south afterwards then to head back North to the Big C in Friday traffic. :P  Maybe I will drive my POV in with the yak tomorrow.

I'm thinking about Drano on Saturday afternoon. I have Little League in the morning but my afternoon's clear.

SteveHawk and I participated in a Resident Goose Nest Survey with both ODFW and WDFW yesterday out of Kalama Marina. We got a big Goose Egg (no nests found on two islands with about a dozen volunteers and staff).

Afterward Steve and I launched our yaks (I finally got the Coosa on the Columbia) and trolled for a few hours with no hits. On the bright side, afterward we went for a burger and ran into an ex-guide who gave us a some great tips on springers. He had limited out earlier and noticed us (we were the only kayaks but there were lots of sleds). He said he limits every day and last year had about 150 chinook. He suggested a good spot to launch kayak for springers. Hope to try it out soon.

Here is a pretty bad video of me netting a fish yesterday.  I am still working on finding the best spot to put the camera but this video is still pretty cool.  I have a decent video from Sunday too, but I want to add it to a video taken by Tim of me fighting the fish.

Was out this morning in my buddies sled. We were at Davis Bar and near Fred's Marina. Saw only 1 fish taken out of perhaps 150 boats (both locations combined). We packed it in early. Maybe next week can try again with better luck

Willamette's flow and turbidity is up.  Probably still fishable but it should look 1000% better in a few days.  Looks like its going to be a good weekend to work in the garden

Any new news out there on springer fishing? It looks like things are improving in the Willy.  This might be a good weekend to find one!
