This is what I have so far and as you might note the TLD is for sure a decent reel no doubt, but in my eyes at least, it's just not doing the rod justice.

Yakangler, none of those links worked for me. Just an FYI.

What a sweet setup. May it treat you well and may you test it's limits on some monster dino's. You can probably use that thing for Tuna too. Multi purpose. :)

Just some feedback from someone that has used larger reels off a kayak, including 30 and 50 class reels, both graphite and metal.  They are big, clunky, and heavy off a kayak.  I'd be looking for the smallest, lightest reel I could get away with.

Now this is why we are here...
Have you held the new 12vsx??
Being the smallest of its series in relation to the TLD how much bigger is it? I know it's around 8.5ounces heavier due to its all metal construction.

Back to what are your needs?

The Avet Raptor SX is pretty bad ass and very small and light. Two speed as well.

What do you consider to be your minimum line capacity needed? What pound braid do you intend to run?

The raptor looks pretty awesome, the green Camo is intriguing for sure. Not to sure about the line capacity.
