I have never competed in a derby so I have a few stoopid questions.

1. Prizes are based on fish weight, not length.
Does the fish have to be alive during weigh in?

2.
Quote
Tourney will end at 3:30 PM with a weigh-in @ HQ

Does this mean that weigh in is complete and no more weigh in after 3:30PM?

Or

Is fishing cut off at 3:30 PM, and weigh in actually starts at this point?

Just need some clarification.   :-[

No worries. 1.) Fish do not need to be alive during weigh in. 2.) Weigh-in starts around 12 and then end at 3:30. There should be plenty of time to get your entry in on time.

One more question for clarity.

So....

Quote
Heaviest single rockfish (Rockfish, Cabezon, Greenling, Lingcod)

Are each of the above listed fish going to award a separate prize?

Or

Is it the heaviest fish period regardless of race of rockfish.

Sorry, for picking this apart.  I work for Intel and we have to ask for absolute details until we are 100% clear, as there are too many ways to read someone's written instructions.  What is clear to one person, may be too vague for another.

Enter your best fish (any rockfish regardless of species) and based on that fish's weight you will be ranked accordingly.  Top three get prizes.

By "rockfish" Zee means.. rockfish, cabezon, greenling and/or lingcod.

I'm not sure what happens if you luck into a halibut.  I think we give you high five and drool over your fish with jealousy.

It's actually 10pts per tooth.  As per all species in the AOTY, 150 is the target "nice fish" and since most of your quarry will be missing more than half their teeth, 15 teeth is considered a good catch in that zone.
