3 for us, camping at Beverly Beach.  My daughter may fish the tournament with me if we get out on the ocean.  Looking forward to that, and the pot luck dinner too.  Here's to hoping we have a true rockfish classic.  See you all there -

Alan

I'm in, paid my entry fee and have a campsite for Friday and Saturday night.  My girl friend and our dog might show on Saturday.

Those are some nice fish from a paddleboard.  I have a friend here in PDX that enters paddleboard races all over town. That would be awesome seeing her towed behind a big Steelhead or salmon. FISH ON ;D!

Anybody interested in a Friday excursion to target butt's for a couple hours? Depending on conditions, get out a mile or two?

Just a thought, been wanting to try, just never have anybody willing to go. It would be fun with a small group.

FishSniffer, What kind of chance we got of catching one that close? Got any areas you would reccomend?

I was thinking straight out and just a touch north, looks like it gets deeper faster there.

Saw this post on Ifish about inshore butt. It was later in the year, does this affect how shallow they would be?

Yo guys. I work for a broadline food distributor here in PDX and could get a killer deal on a case of Natural 2/1 Ground Chuck burger patties, buns, tillamook cheese... whatever we want if you guys want to pitch in some $. I could get it all at cost. Maybe do it Friday night? Does anyone like cheeseburgers? :laughing8:

I like the burger idea for friday night.  Saves me from having to make pulled pork ;D and everyone likes burgers.  Let us know what a fair share would be for the grub.

I like this idea.  I'll kick down some $$ towards this.  I'm hoping to show up in the afternoon Friday.

Is someone planning on bringing a BBQ?

Friday night Cheeseburgers....

I will bring most everything needed for the cheeseburger's, but still need a BBQ. Can someone bring a BBQ/propane Friday afternoon???

If we can get the BBQ lined up here's what I will be bringing Friday afternoon:

1 case of 1/2 pound all natural Ground Chuck burger pattys(15# case or 30 ptys per case)
Assortment of buns
Cheddar and swiss cheese
Ketchup, mayonaise, mustard, pickles, onions and lettuce.
Lots of Potatoe salad.
My wifes also making a large batch of onion dip and i'll bring a few bags of chips.
I think i'd mentioned before, I will be getting all the food at cost from the company I work for(Food Services of America) and I will need to charge $3 per person to re-coup my expenses.
I think I read somewhere that Yaknitup has a line on paper plates, forks, napkins etc..... If so, can you please bring them? In addition to "Lee and his ladies" Is anyone bringing extra people?
